Finally we have arrived in NY. We have set up the workshop and started building the mobile hospitality from scratch. Great thanks to the Doghouse Brooklyn, that supports us with the space, to Festool that borrows us all the perfect tools and to NWW for the flight. Here are some impressions from the first 2 days. We’ll keep bulding and hope to see you in NY.
The pop up cookbook explains the whole history of our mobile hospitality project, and contains recipes for delicious food that we cooked on the mobile kitchen so far. The book is available in a limited edition of 30 copies.

Cooking in Bregenz next to Bodensee with the view on Zumthor´s Kunsthaus was one of our most picturesque happening locations. July 2011.
An intervention at the Klaus Engelhorn Depot in Vienna. Three evenings of cooking and eating with a mix of familiar and unfamiliar guests as a part of chmara.rosinke exhibition “Spaces tell stories”. In the menu were polish pierogi, craw fishes and Käsespetzle and much more.

Mobile hospitality goes on tour in winter. Cooking in Paris on December 27th, 28th, 29th of 2013 with Julliet Chrétien, Neue Galerie Zuerich and the cook Mauricce Maggi.
The first traditional tea ceremony made on mobile hospitality by out friend from Japan.
Our project received a lot of important international art and design awards.
In June 2012 at DMY Berlin Award 2012 received the main festiwal Award. Jury members were Werner Aisslinger (Studio Aisslinger), Jurgen Bey (Studio Makkink&Bey), Dr. Annemarie Jaeggi (Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design, Berlin) and Jerszy Seymour (Jerszy Seymour Design Workshop).
In October 2012 our project was announced a winner of Neue Wiener Werksteatten Award 2012 and received outstanding design award 2012 for experimental design.
Lately the project was also one of the selected finalists of the Urban Artist Award 2013 Berlin.
We are presenting a special cooking performance on mobile hospitality, a food contribution to memphis. Designed and 3d-printed forms for little sweet deserts are composed into aesthetical colourful landscape of imaginary city.

Feldkirch in Austria was our first cooking spot. The happening has started there in 2011 at Art Design Feldkirch festival. We have cooked 2-3 times a day in different city spots and then moved to another city to cook there the next day…
In June 2012 mobile hospitality traveled to Berlin to DMY Design Festival. It was honoured with the main award of the festival and later came back to be presented in prestigious Bauhaus Archiv.
Black (burned) edition of mobile hospitality was realised in December 2012. In 2013 it presented on several exhibitions and galleries all over Europe.
The happening in Vaduz was one of the first ones but at the same time very succesful. It took place in front of Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein in July 2011. Guests whom we met during happening followed us to another city next day to bring us home made jams and wine.
As a part of the “Austrian Design Details” exhibition at this years Saloni del Mobile in Milan and in a cooperation with NWW we are presenting a special edition of the mobile hospitality project. The exposition of 55 austrian companies, carpenteries and designers will take place in Salone di Tessuti. We will be happy to to see you there.
